By accessing, browsing, or utilizing any portion of DevDhun, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the platform.
1. Intellectual Property & Sacred Public Domain Literature
Devotional Scriptures (Public Domain Heritage)
Ancient Vedic mantras, Upanishadic shlokas, Stotras composed by revered Rishis and Acharyas, traditional Chalisas (such as Goswami Tulsidas's Hanuman Chalisa), Aartis, and classical bhajans are sacred cultural treasures belonging to the spiritual heritage of Sanatana Dharma. DevDhun does not claim proprietary ownership or exclusive copyright over these ancient traditional Sanskrit, Awadhi, Braj, or Hindi root verses.
DevDhun Proprietary Rights: The original software code, user interface designs, database schemas, typographic presentations, digital transliteration alignments, English and Hindi explanatory annotations, and custom software tools (such as our Vedic Janam Kundli and Ashtakoot matching calculator) are the proprietary intellectual property of DevDhun. You may not copy, mirror, scrape, systematically download, or distribute DevDhun's proprietary assets without explicit prior written authorization.
2. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use DevDhun solely for lawful, respectful, and personal devotional purposes. You agree not to:
- Engage in automated scraping, data extraction, bot querying, or crawling that exerts disproportionate load on our servers.
- Attempt to disrupt, breach, bypass, or tamper with security measures, CSRF validations, or rate-limiting safeguards.
- Submit defamatory, abusive, obscene, or fraudulent messages via our contact or feedback channels.
- Attempt unauthorized access to other user accounts, administrative dashboards, or server infrastructure.
3. User Accounts & Kundli Storage Quota
Creating an account on DevDhun is free and allows you to save favorite hymns, create devotional playlists, and maintain saved Vedic Kundli profiles.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@devdhun.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- Strict Kundli Profile Quota: Each registered user account is permitted to save a maximum of two (2) Kundli profiles at any time. When this quota is reached, you must replace or delete an existing saved profile before adding a new one. Creating multiple duplicate accounts to circumvent this limitation is prohibited.
- Account Inactivity: In accordance with our database maintenance policy, accounts with no login activity for over four (4) consecutive months may be automatically pruned.
4. Astrological Tools & Cultural Information Notice
All Vedic horoscope calculations, Kundli charts, Guna Milan reports, and planetary analyses provided on DevDhun are for spiritual contemplation and cultural learning. They do not constitute professional legal, medical, psychological, financial, or marital counsel. Users assume full responsibility for any life choices made independently of or in connection with information obtained on DevDhun.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
DevDhun is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for high uptime and accurate textual representations, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding site availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular spiritual purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevDhun shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or inability to use the platform.
