The Divine Pantheon in Sanatan Dharma (देवी-देवताओं का स्वरूप)

In Vedic and Puranic philosophy, the Ultimate Reality (Brahman) is singular, infinite, and all-pervading ("Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti" — Rigveda 1.164.46). While formless and transcendental in its absolute state (Nirguna), the Divine manifests in personal, loving forms (Saguna) to guide seekers, restore cosmic order (Dharma), and nurture devotional relationship (Bhakti).

The Cosmic Order (Trimurti)

Lord Brahma embodies cosmic emergence and creation, Lord Vishnu preserves and protects universal harmony across avatars (such as Rama and Krishna), and Lord Shiva dissolves delusion and facilitates spiritual renewal through profound ascetic wisdom.

Divine Feminine (Adi Parashakti)

Goddess Durga personifies dynamic cosmic strength, Mother Lakshmi bestows spiritual and material abundance, and Goddess Saraswati illuminates intellect, arts, and sacred discernment (Jnana).

Ishta-Devata & Personal Devotion

Sanatan Dharma honours individual spiritual temperaments. Whether meditating upon Lord Ganesha for obstacle removal, Shri Hanuman for steadfast loyalty, or Lord Surya for vitality, every form serves as a sacred gateway to the same Divine Consciousness.
