લમ્બોદરં પઞ્ચમં ચ ષષ્ઠં વિકટમેવ ચ ।
સપ્તમં વિઘ્નરાજેન્દ્રં ધૂમ્રવર્ણં તથાષ્ટમમ્ ॥ ૩ ॥
નવમં ભાલચન્દ્રં ચ દશમં તુ વિનાયકમ્ ।

माता पार्वती के नन्दन देवाधिदेव श्रीविनायक को सिर झुकाकर प्रणाम करके, भक्तजनों के हृदय में वास करने वाले प्रभु का आयु, अभीष्ट कामना और अर्थ की सिद्धि के लिए नित्य स्मरण करना चाहिए।
meaning -
Bowing one's head in deep reverence unto the Divine Son of Gauri, Lord Vinayaka, who resides eternally in the hearts of devotees, one should meditate upon Him daily to attain longevity, fulfillment of desires, and prosperity.

प्रथम नाम 'वक्रतुण्ड' (घुमावदार सूंड वाले), दूसरा नाम 'एकदन्त' (एक दांत वाले), तीसरा नाम 'कृष्णपिङ्गाक्ष' (काली और भूरी आंखों वाले), और चौथा नाम 'गजवक्त्र' (हाथी के मुख वाले) है।
meaning -
First is Vakratunda (curved trunk), second is Ekadanta (single tusk), third is Krishna-pingaksha (dark tawny eyes), and fourth is Gajavaktra (elephant-faced).

meaning -
Fifth is Lambodara (large belly), sixth is Vikata (immense form), seventh is Vighnarajendra (sovereign lord over all obstacles), and eighth is Dhumravarna (smoky-hued).

नौवाँ नाम 'भालचन्द्र' (मस्तक पर चन्द्रमा धारण करने वाले), दसवाँ 'विनायक' (सर्वश्रेष्ठ नायक), ग्यारहवाँ 'गणपति' (गणों के स्वामी), और बारहवाँ नाम 'गजानन' (गजमुख भगवान) है।
meaning -
Ninth is Bhalachandra (moon on the forehead), tenth is Vinayaka (supreme leader), eleventh is Ganapati (lord of the celestial multitudes), and twelfth is Gajanana (elephant-visaged).

जो मनुष्य इन बारह नामों का तीनों संध्याओं (प्रातः, मध्याह्न, सायं) में पाठ करता है, उसे किसी प्रकार के विघ्न का भय नहीं रहता; हे प्रभो! यह पाठ उसके समस्त कार्यों को सिद्ध करने वाला है।
meaning -
Whosoever recites these twelve sacred names during the three junctures of the day (dawn, noon, dusk) faces no fear of obstacles; this prayer bestows all attainments and accomplishments.
વિદ્યાર્થી લભતે વિદ્યાં ધનાર્થી લભતે ધનમ્ ।

The seeker of knowledge attains supreme learning, the seeker of wealth receives abundance, the seeker of progeny is blessed with noble offspring, and the seeker of liberation attains eternal salvation.

इस गणपति स्तोत्र का नित्य जप करने से छह मास में अभीष्ट फल की प्राप्ति होती है और एक वर्ष तक नियमपूर्वक जप करने से पूर्ण सिद्धि प्राप्त होती है, इसमें तनिक भी संशय नहीं है।
meaning -
By chanting this hymn to Ganapati, one reaps auspicious fruits within six months, and within one year attains complete spiritual mastery and success; of this there is no doubt.

meaning -
Ninth is Bhalachandra (moon on the forehead), tenth is Vinayaka (supreme leader), eleventh is Ganapati (lord of the celestial multitudes), and twelfth is Gajanana (elephant-visaged).

जो मनुष्य इन बारह नामों का तीनों संध्याओं (प्रातः, मध्याह्न, सायं) में पाठ करता है, उसे किसी प्रकार के विघ्न का भय नहीं रहता; हे प्रभो! यह पाठ उसके समस्त कार्यों को सिद्ध करने वाला है।
meaning -
Whosoever recites these twelve sacred names during the three junctures of the day (dawn, noon, dusk) faces no fear of obstacles; this prayer bestows all attainments and accomplishments.

विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम् ।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान् मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम् ॥ ६ ॥

विद्या की अभिलाषा रखने वाला विद्यार्थी विद्या प्राप्त करता है, धन की कामना वाला धन पाता है, सन्तान चाहने वाला सुपुत्र प्राप्त करता है और मोक्ष की कामना करने वाला सद्गति को प्राप्त करता है।
meaning -
The seeker of knowledge attains supreme learning, the seeker of wealth receives abundance, the seeker of progeny is blessed with noble offspring, and the seeker of liberation attains eternal salvation.

जपेद् गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलं लभेत् ।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः ॥ ७ ॥

इस गणपति स्तोत्र का नित्य जप करने से छह मास में अभीष्ट फल की प्राप्ति होती है और एक वर्ष तक नियमपूर्वक जप करने से पूर्ण सिद्धि प्राप्त होती है, इसमें तनिक भी संशय नहीं है।
meaning -
By chanting this hymn to Ganapati, one reaps auspicious fruits within six months, and within one year attains complete spiritual mastery and success; of this there is no doubt.
