कपूर के समान गौर वर्ण, करुणा के साक्षात अवतार, भुजंगों की माला धारण करने वाले देवाधिदेव महादेव का नमन।
कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारं संसारसारम् भुजगेन्द्रहारम्।
सदावसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि॥
Karpoora-gauram karunavataram samsara-saram bhujagendra-haram |
Sada-vasantam hridayaravinde bhavam bhavani-sahitam namami ||
